Josh McGuire

Joshua McGuire is Field and Fork Network’s Program Director: Double Up Food Bucks and is tasked with ensuring the strategic growth and operational success of the program. Having been born in WNY, he received his bachelor’s in environmental policy from SUNY at Buffalo before moving to Colorado to get his master’s degree in Environmental Leadership.  

Josh has many years of experience in food systems, from working on the ground in various parts of the world implementing permaculture, to leading teams in Colorado and California, where he focused on creating healthier food environments throughout Denver and Los Angeles.  

Josh is excited to be back in Western New York with his wife, daughter, and son. Josh holds a deep connection with the natural world and when he is not out hiking or camping, you can find him watching nature documentaries, tooling around in his garden, or identifying critters with his kids.
